Forensic Institute for Research and Education at MTSU

Events

Join us on Thursday, October 24th at 6:30 p.m. in the MTSU Student Union Ballroom

Together, forensic anthropologists Hugh Berryman and Thomas Holland have worked on over 3,000 forensic cases, from biker-gang murders to serial killers to victims of natural and manmade disasters. Their work has taken them to some of the world’s strangest and most remote locations, from the rice paddies of North Korea to the soybean fields of Weakley County, Tennessee. And boy-oh-boy have they accumulated some interesting stories along the way.

Join Hugh Berryman, professor emeritus and founder of MTSU’s Forensic Institute for Research and Education (FIRE), and Thomas Holland, the current director of FIRE, for an evening of conversation, storytelling, and (just maybe answers to some of life’s most perplexing forensic questions.
